Greg and Debra took a mini vacation in Florida while the three big kids were at church camp. While we did do one shoot while we were down, it was mostly recreational. We picked one touristy thing while we were down, and choose to go to "The Holy Land" - Its amazingly authentic and really educational. They have a minuature Jerusalem (below) and a tomb (there is Greg pretending to roll away the stone) and many other things. Honestly, the tomb was so realistic that I felt overwhelmed going in.

Family Summer Vacation - well almost!
So we had big plans for the summer - flying the kids to Florida and to New Hampshire to see Gpas and Gmas. It was all coordinated, but then last minute one of the grandparents got sick and we completely changed plans. Well - it turned out great for the kids. Dad and the four older children drove the van (gas guzzler - 15 passenger van - whew!) from Lee's Summit Missouri to Niagra Falls then on to NewHampshire. On the way home from thier 10 day stay they stopped in Connecticut to see Debra's Mom and Her husband. They all had a great time. Mommy and Sarah stayed home to work - Mom had a wedding and Daddy thought it might be a bit much taking all four. He did great with the four and they had a wonderful time. They didn't get to see Nanna and Pappa in Florida, but we will have to schedule that for another time.
Here is Daddy and all the kids at the falls. They are wet but Happy!
Here they are with Niagra falls in the background. Faith is making the pouty face. I think it was a bit sunny. LOL.
Here they are on the boat ride - it goes right under the falls - through it actually! Nathaniel couldn't stop talking about it!

And Here is The house Daddy Grew up in. Alton, New Hampshire. So much fun to vist Grammy and Grandpa there! The kids and Daddy took lots of fun day trips. One was to a Real Mine! Here they are at the mine.
They also spent a day at the famous Hubble Lighthouse and a day at the beach. Aren't my children beautiful?

There are some things you can do at Grammys and Grandpas you just can't do anywhere else - like a Wienie Roast!
On the way home Daddy stopped by Grandmas house (Grandma and Lou) in Connecticut and the kids got to show off a little - and left fed and happy. Word is Grandma told some whopper stories about mommy in her younger years!
